一、資訊系大學部學生依入學學年畢業所需學分,規定如下:
I. For undergraduate students in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, the required credits for graduation are as follows, depending on the academic year of admission:
(1)102-104 學年度入學: 必修科目69學分(刪除普通物理學實驗 (一)(二)各1學分)、通識科目:32 學分,選修科目:36 學分。
(1) For students admitted in academic years 102-104: 69 required credits (deletion of 1 credit each for General Physics Laboratory (I) and (II)), 32 general education credits, 36 elective credits.
(2)105學年度起入學: 必修科目69學分(刪除普通物理學實驗 (一)(二)各1學分)、通識科目: 28 學分,選修科目:36 學分。
(2) For students admitted from academic year 105 onwards: 69 required credits (deletion of 1 credit each for General Physics Laboratory (I) and (II)), 28 general education credits, 36 elective credits.
(3)106學年度起入學: 必修科目66學分(刪除程式語言3學分)、通識科目: 28 學分,選修科目:36學分。
(3) For students admitted from academic year 106 onwards: 66 required credits (deletion of 3 credits for Programming Language), 28 general education credits, 36 elective credits.
(4)109學年度起入學: 必修科目60學分(刪除計算機概論、工程數學、計算理論共9學分;新增電腦網路概論3學分)、通識科目: 28 學分,選修科目:42學分。
(4) For students admitted from academic year 109 onwards: 60 required credits (deletion of 9 credits for Introduction to Computers, Engineering Mathematics, and Theory of Computation; addition of 3 credits for Introduction to Computer Networks), 28 general education credits, 42 elective credits.

109-113 學年度起入學學生: 必修科目為上列各科目,共60學分。
For students admitted from academic year 109-113 onwards: Required courses are all the above subjects, totaling 60 credits.
106-108 學年度入學學生: 必修科目包含上列各科目與計算機概論(3學分)、工程數學(3學分)、 計算理論(3學分),不含電腦網路概論(3學分),共66學分。
For students admitted from academic year 106-108: Required courses include all the above subjects plus Introduction to Computers (3 credits), Engineering Mathematics (3 credits), and Theory of Computation (3 credits), excluding Introduction to Computer Networks (3 credits), totaling 66 credits.
三、通識科目規定如下:

依入學年度有不同的規定,請詳閱本校通識教育中心各入學年度之通識規定。 The requirements vary depending on the year of admission. Please refer to the NCKU General Education Center’s guidelines for each admission year.
四、選修科目學分包含系上專業選修與外系選修。
IV. Elective credits include both departmental professional electives and electives taken from other departments.
系上專業選修須修滿21學分以上,外系選修至多承認 21學分。
Students shall complete no fewer than 21 credits in departmental professional elective courses. A maximum of 21 credits from elective courses offered by other departments may be counted toward graduation requirements.
五、對於科目名稱或課程內容相近之通識課程與專業必修、選修課程不宜重複,若有重複選修,將不予承認。
V. General education courses with titles or content similar to departmental required or elective courses shall not be taken repeatedly. Duplicate enrollments will not be counted toward graduation credits.
六、通識課程規定
VI. General education course regulations:
依本校「分類通識課程選修要點」下列通識課程,因與本系專業課程相近,不予承認。電腦入門與應用、認識電腦網路、視窗、網路與資料庫、資訊科技與應用、資料庫入門與應用、各種視窗網路與資料庫介紹、WWW網路世界、物件導向設計概論、網路與資訊科技、資訊科技應用、拍出跨域資訊應用首部曲--python。
According to the university's "Guidelines for Electing Categorized General Education Courses," the following general education courses are not recognized due to their similarity to courses in this department: Introduction to Computers and Applications, Understanding Computer Networks, Windows, Networks and Databases, Information Technology and Applications, Introduction to Databases and Applications, Introduction to various Windows Networks and Databases, WWW Network World, Introduction to Object-Oriented Design, Networks and Information Technology, Information Technology Applications, and "Introduction to Python Programming."
七、必修課程規定
VII. Required course regulations:
(1) 學生須在本班上課,若因故須至他班上課,須至系網頁表格區下載”因故至他班上課確認表”方可選課,若為外籍生不在此限。
(1) Students are required to attend courses offered by their designated class. Those who need to attend a course offered by a different class must download the “Confirmation Form for Attending Another Class Due to Special Reasons” from the department website and submit it before course selection. This restriction does not apply to international students.
(2) 本系在學生必修科目第一次修習時必須選擇本系開授課程。修畢本系必修科目但成績不及格者,方可修讀其他系所開設之等同課程。本系認可之必修課等同課程詳列於”國立成功大學資訊工程學系必修課等同課程表”中。
(2) Students must enroll in required courses offered by the Department when taking them for the first time. If a student fails a required course, they may retake an equivalent course offered by another department. The list of equivalent courses recognized by the Department is specified in the “Table of Equivalent Required Courses – Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Cheng Kung University.”
(3) 本系在學生如申請國際交換,於交換期間修讀必修科目不受本辦法第七條第(2)項限制。惟修讀科目之學分,須向課程委員會申請審核認訂。
(3) Students participating in an international exchange program are not subject to the restriction stated in Article VII, Paragraph 2 when taking required courses during the exchange period. However, the credits earned for such courses must be submitted to the Curriculum Committee for review and approval.
(4) 外籍生及僑生修讀必修課不受本辦法第七條第(2)項限制,可逕行修讀同課名之英語授課課程。
(4) Foreign students and overseas Chinese students taking required courses are not subject to the restriction in Article VII, Paragraph (2) when taking required courses; they may directly enroll in English-taught courses with the same course titile.
(5) 非外籍生修讀共同英語授課課程學分將不予以納入畢業學分。
(5) Credits earned from English-taught general courses by non-international students shall not be counted toward graduation requirements.
(6) 轉系生與轉學生必修課程規定:
(6) Required course regulations for transfer students (from other departments or universities):
1. Transfer students, whether from other departments within the university or from other universities, who are required to retake Calculus (I)(II) and General Physics (I) upon admission must enroll in equivalent undergraduate-level courses offered by the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the College of Science, or the College of Engineering.
2. Transfer students, whether from other departments within the university or from other universities, who are required to retake other first-year required courses not listed above and have not previously taken the course in this department must enroll in equivalent courses offered by the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
3. When transfer students, whether from other departments within the university or from other universities, take required courses at the sophomore level or above, the provisions of Article VII, Paragraph 2 of these regulations shall apply.
(7) 轉學生與轉系生必修科目學分抵免依照本校學分抵免辦法與本系必修課等同課程表辦理。
(7) The credit transfer of required courses for transfer students, whether from other departments within the university or from other universities, shall be handled in accordance with the University’s Credit Transfer Regulations and the Department’s Table of Equivalent Required Courses.
八、選修科目規定
VIII. Elective course regulations:
(1)系上專業選修規定:
(1)Departmental Professional Elective Course Regulations:
1.系上專業選修學分以本系開設之選修課程為原則。
1. Departmental professional elective credits shall, in principle, be earned from elective courses offered by the Department.
2.本系資訊工程學研究所、醫學資訊研究所、製造資訊與系統研究所及多媒體系統與智慧型運算工程博士學位學程開設之選修課程可列入系上專業選修學分。
2. Elective courses offered by the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, the Institute of Medical Informatics, the Institute of Manufacturing Information and Systems, and the Ph.D. Program in Multimedia System and Intelligent Computing may be counted toward the departmental professional elective credits.
3.其他學校、學系或研究所所開設之課程均不予以承認為系上專業選修學分。
3. Courses offered by other universities, departments, or graduate institutes shall not be recognized as departmental professional elective credits.
4.須選修並通過本系開設之「資訊工程倫理與生涯規劃」。
4. Students must select and pass the "Attitude Brilliance and Career of Computer Science and Information Engineering" course offered by the department.
(2)外系選修規定:
(2) Regulations on Elective Courses from Other Departments:
1.第二外語課可列入選修學分(如日文、德文等)。
1. Second foreign language courses (e.g., Japanese, German, etc.) may be counted toward elective credits.
2.外系選修課有開設兩個學期以上(如會計(一)、會計(二)等),只修一個學期也給予承認。
2. For elective courses offered by other departments that span more than one semester (e.g., Accounting I and Accounting II), credit will be granted even if only one semester is completed.
3.進修推廣部及計算機中心開授的課程不予以承認。
3. Courses offered by the Center for Continuing Education and the Computer and Networking Center at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) shall not be recognized for credit.
4.外系研究所的課程可列入外系選修學分。
4. Graduate-level courses offered by other departments may be counted toward elective credits from other departments.
5.若選修1學分體育,不納入畢業學分內。
5. One-credit physical education courses, if taken as electives, shall not be counted toward graduation credits.
6.畢業學分審查時,列為外系選修的課程課名如與列為系上必修或選修課程相同時視為重複選修,不納入畢業學分。
6. During graduation credit review, any course taken as an elective from another department that has the same course title as a required or elective course of this department shall be considered a duplicate and shall not be counted toward graduation credits.
九、本系生大三上學期必需選修”資訊專題(一)”課程,且確定專題指導老師,並繳交「指導資訊專題同意書」;大三下學期必需選修”資訊專題(二)”課程並參與畢業專題實作發表(專題指導教授保有其專題生可否參與畢業專題實作發表之決定權)。
IX. All third-year students of the Department must enroll in “Computer Project Design (I)” in the first semester and confirm their project advisor by submitting the Project Advisor Consent Form. In the second semester, students must enroll in “Computer Project Design (II)” and participate in the capstone project presentation. The project advisor reserves the right to determine whether the student is eligible to participate in the final capstone project presentation.
十、本系各學年英語能力指標規定,依【國立成功大學學士班學生英語能力指標檢核辦法】辦理,並參照本校英語能力及成就檢定系統公告規定。
X. The English proficiency requirements for each academic year shall be implemented in accordance with the “NCKU Guidelines for Assessing English Proficiency of Undergraduate Students,” and shall follow the announcements made through the university’s English Proficiency and Achievement Assessment System.
Core Curriculum Map – General Group / Purdue MS
Computer Project Design(I) and (II)
The " Computer Project Design(I) and (II)" courses primarily aim to cultivate undergraduate students' ability to practically implement an information system or module. These are year-long, two-semester compulsory courses for third-year students. By this stage, students have already acquired a substantial amount of foundational and specialized knowledge in the field of information technology during their first and second years, and they possess both software and hardware programming skills.
Before enrolling in this Capstone Project course, students' programming abilities were primarily developed through programming assignments within their specialized courses. They had not yet had the opportunity to develop integrated programming skills specifically for an information application system or module.
In these two courses, students will proactively seek out a project advisor based on their own interests and the advisor's expertise and research direction. Each advisor will guide a group of students in conducting a research project on a specific information application system or module, and then implement it programmatically. At the end of the second semester of their third year, students will participate in the Graduation Project Exhibition to showcase their work, which will then be graded by faculty members.
